Nanny’s & Granny’s was founded in 1987 by Carol Ann Hale. Ms. Hale, an educator and mother, founded the company out of her deep love of children and seniors, a concern for early childhood safety and a desire to provide quality service in the area of in-home care services to families in need. Now, over 20 years later Nanny’s & Granny’s continues to provide nanny training and placement, babysitting services, non-medical senior companion services, housekeeping services and a wide range of domestic placement services.

The keys to the success of a Nanny’s & Granny’s placement are as follows:

• Staff training - All staff are required to attend a minimum of three training sessions
• Intense screening of applicants including but not limited to background, credit and health checks
• Personal interviews with families so that needs are understood and met.
• Individual attention and concern

An important component of a Nanny’s & Granny’s nanny placement is the opportunity to make use of our carefully structured Early Childhood Educational programs. The programs developed by Ms. Hale provide opportunities for the nanny and child to explore and develop the mental, social and physical spheres of development.
